Breakfast Cropped

It’s Saturday morning, and I feel great. Problem is I don’t know what I want to do today. There are always chores to do around my apartment, but hey, I can do tasks anytime. They never go away, not even when they are finished. I could have breakfast at McDonald’s, but there is nothing new or exciting about that either, besides I had breakfast at McDonald’s yesterday. I could have breakfast at Denny’s, but their prices have gotten too high. Denny’s used be a place to get a good meal for a very reasonable price. I could eat breakfast at Denny’s for $5.00 or $6.00 plus tip. Not anymore. I think the last time I had breakfast at Denny’s, my bill was around $11.00, and that was without a glass of milk. Did you know that Denny’s wants nearly $3.00 for a glass of milk? Wow, I got a whole gallon of milk the other day for $1.89 at the grocery store. Eating out is no longer something I can afford to do. Do you know? Everybody raised their prices when the price of gasoline went up. They said they had to charge more because their production costs went up due to fuel price increases. Well, fuel prices have come down, in some cases to less than $2.00 a gallon, but do you see any of the costs for breakfast at Denny’s coming down? I don’t. Guess what; I won’t be eating at Denny’s today.
