Unlock The Mind

Published by Scott on

Unlock The MindMy first assignment is to free-write for 20 minutes to unlock the mind. Well, I started this writing exercise several months ago, but as with all things, I lost interest and quit the program. So I’m starting again.

I usually can think of many things to write about until it’s time to start writing, then all of my ideas leave my mind. I’m supposed to write for twenty minutes and then post my writing on my blog. So here I go again.

Confused

I’m trying to figure out what I’m supposed to be doing with my life. I am 66 years old, and I’m still confused about what I’m supposed to be doing. Sometimes I think that being alive is as much of an accomplishment as I can attain. But that is just not satisfying to me. There has to be more to my life than just existing.

Life Changes

Over the years, I have made many changes to my life and my thinking. Most of these changes have been for the betterment of my life and my spiritual growth. Now I’m not sure I want to continue with this line of thought, so I think I will change the subject. As I said, this is a free writing assignment.

Politics

Since I have no political ambitions, I think I’ll post a comment about what I think the political situation is in this country today. Everyone is gearing up for the presidential election in November, is it going to make any difference? Does this countries federal government govern the USA, or is there a bigger agenda going on. Well, I think there is a bigger agenda controlled by people other than our federal government: just my opinion, and no real way to prove it.

Clinton V Trump

And another small change of subject; do we want the Clinton’s in the White House for another four years? I hope not. I don’t think I could stand to listen to Hillary with her very annoying voice. She should stay home and spend all the money she has on voice lessons and fashion advice. I don’t think she should be elected president just because she is a woman. But then I’m not fond of Mr. Trump either.

Well, my 20 minutes are up to unlock my mind.
