SEO Optimization

SEO Optimization. There was a time when I could put my name into a search engine, and the results of my website would show up on the 2nd or 3rd page. Since I changed my website to WordPress, search engines don’t find my site at all.

Because I cannot find my website in any of the search engines, I decided I would use search engine optimization on my website. I will rewrite some of my static pages and the posts that I create from now on. I am hoping that my site will show up again when I do a search on my name.

Many rules are required by search engine optimization programs. Some of which I will never achieve because my posts are frequently not long enough to satisfy one of the search engine optimizations rules.

I have worked on one static page, my Welcome Page. And I have worked on my SF vacation post. So far, nothing is showing up when I do a search for my site. Working on SEO optimization takes a long time, first because I don’t understand all of the rules. Next, I have a hard time interpreting the rules after I’ve read reports about what I need to do.

So, for now, I will continue to try and make my posts meet all of the SEO optimization rules. At the present time, I am using the Yoast SEO optimization plugin. Parts of it are very confusing, but I will persevere and try to make everything work as it is intended.

So, I am writing this post to see if what I have written will meet any of the SEO optimization rules. I guess time will tell.
